St Giles relies on the generosity of the congregation and local community to support our mission, ministry and the support given to the wider community. The church hall is used for a wide range of community gatherings, groups and events and is at the heart of Bramhope life.

We would be delighted if you can support our church and there are a number of ways you can safely give.

1) Donate Now

Please use our give.net account to make a donation, just click on the logo below.

2) Donate in Services

During our Services, a collection is made. Envelopes are provided if you would like your donation to benefit from gift aid. Just fill out the envelope and enclose cash. No cash? Our card reader takes contactless card donations in one tap.

3) Donate Regularly

Rather than giving in the collection plate, many of our congregation give regularly by standing order on a monthly basis. This is hugely helpful for us in terms of visibility of regular income and the ability to claim back gift aid. The Parish Giving Scheme is an established planned giving scheme for churches that was launched in the Diocese of Leeds earlier this year. St Giles was involved in the pilot scheme and is already registered. The Parish Giving Scheme works by direct debit, forwards 100% of donations to St Giles and automatically calculates gift aid (previously a very labour time-consuming process).

Bishop of Leeds, Nick Baines, introduces the Parish Giving Scheme. The Parish Giving Scheme is an established planned giving scheme for churches that was launched across the Diocese of Leeds in January 2020. St Giles, Bramhope is registered

Ring 0333 002 1271 Monday to Friday, between 9 – 5pm to get set up onto the system. St Giles Parish code is 460646102.

We would be grateful if our congregation who currently use standing orders could switch over to this scheme to help us going forward.

Our 50 50 club is £5.00 per month via standing order for a ball. 50% goes to the church and 50% into the monthly prize draw fund. Speak to Sarah Shay, pick up a leaflet from the lobby or e-mail hello@stgilesbramhope.org.uk to register your interest.

5) Donate in Remembrance

Remembering the Church in your Will is a wonderful way to give thanks for your faith and support the future work of the Church. Simply name St Giles Church, Bramhope, Parochial Church Council, Charity Number 1129657 with your bequest.
