Tom and the churchwardens have been fine tuning the COVID Risk Assessment. (obligatory by law) in order to make sure that all those who visit the church are safe.
To maximise the limited space we have, you will be guided to a seat, with social distancing of 1.5m (ie two spare seats between worshippers) for people sitting ‘side by side’ and 2m between rows. Household bubbles will not have to socially distance.
Hand sanitiser will be provided at the entrance and various other areas within the church
Everyone will be encouraged to wear face coverings to protect both themselves and other worshippers and spares will be available should you forget to bring yours.
The church will operate a ‘first come, first served’ system. When at capacity, unfortunately people may have to be turned away, although they will be offered a ‘ticket’ to give them a place at the next Sunday service they wish to attend.
Test and Trace system
In line with government advice, people will be asked to provide their name and phone number on entry so that a ‘register’ of worshippers can be taken. This will be kept for 21 days and then destroyed.
There will be no refreshments.
These will continue for the time-being on Sundays.
